Instructions
The Red Sea has just split, and it is time for Moses and the Israelites to cross. However, as they start to cross, the Egyptians start following them in mad pursuit. Their intentions? To bring the Israelites back to Egypt to be their slaves and to stamp out this Moses.
If playing on a computer, use the arrows to move Moses up and down and help him collect shells for points and dodge the Red Sea Crabs.* Every ten seconds, a question about the Exodus will pop up on your screen. Press the buttons that help you answer the questions correctly. If you get the answer correct, you will receive points based on the question type. Otherwise, the Egyptians will inch their way closer to the Israelite caravan.
If the Egyptians get too close to the current rear Israelite, a powerup will be activated, and you will be given the chance to use it to prohibit the Egyptians from getting any closer.
If an Egyptian captures an Israelite, the Israelite is removed from the board, and you lose 20 points. If you get five questions correct in a streak, you will be able to release the Israelite that was captured and regain your 20 points.
If an Egyptian reaches Moses or Moses runs into a crab, he loses a chance (represented by one of the Moses figures), and you are taken back to the entrance of the Red Sea before you continue. Lose all of your chances, and the game is over.
If you get ten answers correct, you will get another chance.
There are ten levels in the whole game. If you finish all of them and have yet to answer some incorrect questions, you will be brought to our bonus level where you can finish things off. After there are no more incorrect questions remaining, you will successfully cross the Red Sea and the Egyptians will perish beneath its waves.
*If you are playing on a mobile device, put the game in full screen and hold your device horizontally. Digital buttons will appear on the screen, allowing you to control Moses using onscreen arrows. Buttons will be given as necessary based on whatever questions appear.
Also, if you cannot see the game, you are probably holding your phone vertically. Tilt it horizontally for the best experience!
